Hello, plans are underway for the 2025 Camp Chance. 2025 marks the 18th year that Camp Chance has been held!
The dates for Camp Chance are:
1st and 2nd Grade – July 8, 9, 10
You may volunteer a morning, afternoon, or all day.
Day 1 of each week, morning activities will begin at the Park and Rec Field House with fun with inflatables, anda nutrition session with Lake Area Pediatric Dentistry. We will then go to Foundation Field for flying kites with Kiwanis members and the Ultimate Kicks activity. Afternoon activities will be held at the Library with the Friends of the Watertown Regional Library, and sand art craft and animal education with Happy Tails K-9 Training at the Police Dept. Sioux Valley Coop will serve a walking taco meal for lunch.
Day 2 of each week, morning activities will begin at Lions Park with fishing with Game, Fish & Parks, and fire safety with Watertown Fire Rescue, and archery with Skip Meisenheimer will be held at the City Auditorium. Afternoon activities of building duck houses with Game, Fish & Parks, K9 activity with WPD Police dog K6 Laya, and boat and jet ski rides will be held at Memorial Park. Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs will be served for lunch.
Day 3 of each week, morning activities will be held at Bramble Park Zoo, and afternoon activities will be held at the Outdoor Pool and Rising Star Athletics. Pizza Ranch pizza will be served for lunch.
