The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water follows SpongeBob SquarePants and his friends as they embark on a quest to recover the stolen Krabby Patty secret formula. When the scheming pirate Burger-Beard (voiced by Antonio Banderas) gets his hands on the magical book that makes anything written in it come true, he uses it to rewrite history and steal the beloved recipe. With Bikini Bottom plunged into chaos, SpongeBob teams up with Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs to venture to the surface world.
