Parents who have accurate information about early brain development, temperament, and social and emotional growth are more likely to experience increased satisfaction and enjoyment in parenting their young children.
The
Understanding Me Up to Age 3 parenting series complements the Common-Sense Parenting training currently provided by the Department of Social Services, which focuses on children ages 3 to 16. These complementary programs offer a comprehensive system of parent education from birth through the teenage years.
The parenting classes will be held at The Beacon Center on November 6th, 13th, 20th, and December 4th. Please note there will be no class on November 27
th due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.
