What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy being able to work one-on-one with clients and provide another support person to their team. I enjoy being able to educate on different topics and that each day is different with the type of work I may be doing.
Who or what inspires you in your work?
My clients inspire my work and to do the best for them each day. Being able to help promote healthy goals for each client and being able to see them work towards and achieve these outcomes is what keeps me motivated.
How has the way your job is done changed over the years?
We have been able to begin doing services more than just in person. We have recently, within the last 6 months, began using a platform that allows us to also provide services via Telehealth.
What hobbies, interests, recreation, etc. do you enjoy outside of work?
I enjoy being outside and at the lake in the summer. I also am a fitness instructor at the Prairie Lakes Wellness Center so I enjoy this as well as pushing people in their fitness as well.
What is one thing you can’t live without?
My water bottle. I have it everywhere I go. Even just a quick trip to the grocery store or gas station, it comes along.
