- 27th Annual Holiday Lighted Parade (free)
- Watch the lighted floats drive through Downtown Watertown.
- Organization: Visit Watertown
- November 24th at 6:30 pm
- Winter Wonderland (free, donations welcome)
- Look at the lights in Stokes-Thomas Lake City Park
- Organization: Watertown Optimist Club
- Dates: open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 6 - 9pm, with the last night open is Christmas night.
- Opening night: Saturday November 25th at 6pm.
- Santaland (free, donations welcome)
- Visit Santaland on 1 E. Kemp Ave and believe in the magic of Christmas.
- Organization: Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce
- Dates: Thursday (4 – 8 pm), Friday (4 – 8 pm) & Saturday (10 am – 4 pm), November 24 – December 23
- Carnegie Christmas Market (free, donations welcome)
- Organization: Codington County Heritage Museum
- This event combines Christmas exhibits and children’s crafts and stories in the Museum with gift shopping and holiday food in an open-air market surrounding the Museum.

- Christmas by the Shore (free with donation)
- Join the South Shore community for an evening of yuletide cheer and community spirit.

- Shopping local this season won’t only help boost our county’s economy, but can reward you as well.

- Hometown Holidays stamp cards may be picked up at the Watertown Chamber office at 1 East Kemp Ave (corner of Kemp & Broadway) Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm

- Too many sugar cookies? If you need the kids to burn off some energy indoors, join Watertown Park & Rec at the Fieldhouse December 1, 8 and 15 from 3:30-6:30pm for Fun Friday. $5 for youth ages 2-12.
Holiday Support
The holidays are magical, but can be stressful. Many faith-based organizations and churches offer support this season. In November our featured agency of the month is The Salvation Army.
