Individual of the Month: Angie Collignon
Substance Use and Justice Programs Coordinator – Codington County Community Services
This month, we're excited to feature Angie Collignon, Substance Use and Justice Programs Coordinator at Codington County Community Services - whose passion for community connection shines through every part of her work.
"Every day is something different," she shared when asked what she enjoys most about her job. "Every day I learn more about our community and the people in it. Every day I meet new people and hear about what they do and how all our jobs and lives are interconnected. Every day we work together to improve the lives of those living in our community."
Angie brings a valuable perspective to the table at Codington Connects. "Knowing that every person has a story that drives their beliefs. The only way to truly understand another perspective is to have real conversations and listen to understand. Understanding doesn’t mean agreeing but it means having respect for others’ perspectives, which is essential in our work."
Outside of work, Angie enjoys a mix of hobbies: reading, gardening, baking, relaxing in the sun, and going on vacation. She shared a new adventure that she would like to try, which would be scuba diving! And she dreams of living near the ocean “where the days are always warm and the sun shines infinitely."
