Individual of the Month: Mary Drevecky, RN-Supervisor SD PLAN – Sanford Clinic Watertown
This month, we are pleased to recognize Mary Drevecky, RN-Supervisor at SD PLAN, as our Individual of the Month. Her ongoing dedication to serving individuals and families in our community makes a meaningful impact. Mary’s leadership, compassion, and commitment to reproductive health have made a lasting impact through her work and involvement in local networks.
What Mary loves most about her work is “Working with great coworkers to help people of various ages to maintain or improve their reproductive health.”
Mary values the teamwork and shared mission within the clinic. She is passionate about ensuring that community members receive supportive care that helps them make informed decisions about their health.
When asked what skill she brings to Codington Connects, Mary answered “The ability to network and share resources available within the community I’ve resided in my whole life.”
Mary’s deep roots in the community give her a unique ability to connect people to the resources they need. Her knowledge of local supports strengthens partnerships and helps the clinic continue its outreach work.
Mary hopes to one day have enough personal wealth to share with all the agencies in our community, reflecting her generous spirit and deep desire to support the organizations that make a difference every day.
When asked what matters most, she answered “My family.”
If Mary had a superpower, she wishes for “Telepathy, so I would be able to read people’s minds, to better anticipate and understand their needs.”
Mary’s compassion, connection to the community, and dedication to helping others make her an invaluable part of SD PLAN and the community. We are grateful for her work and are proud to recognize her this month.
