The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. People are often surprised to find out The Salvation Army is a church. There are worship services, adult small groups, and youth programming available. Another surprising fact is there are over one thousand meals served each month through our community lunch program.

I love working with The Salvation Army because I love the people we serve. It is rewarding because I get to see the effects of helping someone on a daily basis. I love that the work we do is motivated by sharing God’s love with others.
